“3 Year Gain in Spelling Skills In Just 3 Months!”
I wanted to tell you about a student I tested on Tuesday. This is a boy with obvious and fairly profound cognitive difficulties.
When I tested him in July he tested at 3.3 grade equivalence in spelling (he is normed at 4.9). The school authorities were thinking he’d made as much progress as he was capable of.
The father and step mother brought him for testing and immediately purchased All About Spelling upon my recommendation. They worked with him every day for about 15 – 20 minutes.
This week – after 3 months with All About Spelling – he tested at 6.2 grade equivalence (normed at 5.3). This is a 3 year gain in spelling skill in just 3 months.
